CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – Stolen goods, an unregistered handgun, ammunition and narcotics were recovered during a search of a Martinez home and following the arrests of three individuals possibly connected to two stolen Ford Econoline vans, police said Friday.
Walnut Creek police are hoping to find the owners of the recovered property, which includes power tools, hand tools and a flight bag.
The Walnut Creek department said the first van, which contained tools, was reported stolen Nov. 13 from El Mirador in Walnut Creek and was recovered empty a few days later in Pacheco. The second incident involved another Econoline van swiped from Baldwin Lane in Walnut Creek Nov. 30 and recovered -- with tools missing -- in Martinez.
