The Chamber's Board dinner also highlighted new board members, growing networking groups, and a Vision 2030 plan aimed at strengthening opportunities and advocacy for Pleasant Hill businesses in the years ahead.

• Ygnacio Valley Library Prepares for Temporary Closure and Major Improvements (contracosta.news) — If you rely on Pleasant Hill Library, be ready for more traffic at that branch while Walnut Creek's Ygnacio Valley Library closes September 9 through May 31, 2027 for major upgrades. During the closure, book drops and parking there will be shut, and Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Clayton, and Concord libraries will handle borrowing, returns, and transferred holds.
