Weapons Aplenty Seized By Contra Costa Deputies
An Oakley man was arrested after a search warrant served on his home turned up guns and ammo, officials said.
OAKLEY, CA – Investigators following up on the arrest of a felon who allegedly had an unregistered, loaded handgun in his possession last month seized multiple firearms, some of which were illegal, while serving a search warrant at his home in Oakley on Friday, sheriff's officials said today.
The Contra Costa County Anti-Violence Support Effort Team arrested 46-year-old Michael Wunder after allegedly finding a machine gun pistol, an AR-15 style assault pistol, a 7.62-caliber AR-10 style assault rifle,
equipment for manufacturing firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition in his home on Lake Park Drive.
Wunder was booked into jail on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, being a felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a machine gun, possession of an assault weapon and manufacturing an assault weapon. Wunder remains in custody on $600,000 bail.

The CASE Team is comprised of sheriff's deputies, California Highway Patrol officers, agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as well as police officers from Pittsburg and Walnut Creek.
It was formed in 2011 to combat and reduce gun violence in Contra Costa County.
