2019 Veterans Parade Set For Sunday In Downtown Pleasanton
This year's event celebrates the 100th anniversary of the American Legion. See list of street closures that begin at 11:30 a.m.
PLEASANTON, CA —The 2019 Veterans Day Parade will step off at 1 p.m. Sunday on Main Street in downtown Pleasanton, an event held annually on the first Sunday of November.
Larry Leonardo, past commander of American Legion Department of California, will serve as grand marshal, as this year's parade will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the American Legion, according to organizers, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6298.
Street closures for the Veterans Day event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. as follows:

- Main Street between Spring Street and Bernal Avenue.
- St. Mary Street between Main Street and Peters Avenue.
- Old Bernal Avenue between Augustine Street and Main Street.
- West Angela Street between Peters Avenue and Main Street.
- Rose Avenue between Peters Avenue and Main Street.
- Division Street between Peters Avenue and Main Street.
- Peters Avenue between St. Mary and Old Bernal.
An after-parade ceremony will be held inside the Veterans Hall. It is open to all, and admission is free.
