ACT! SING! DANCE! DESIGN! Theatre Classes Available with CYT Tri-Valley

Fall Classes Enrolling Now for Kids 4-18: 'So You Think You CAN'T Dance', 'Drama!', 'Backstage & Beyond', 'The Voice' and much more...

come be a part of the Valley’s newest children’s theatre company through our exciting Fall Classes.  Try something new that you’ve been meaning to try or continue working on skills you already enjoy:  whatever you’re looking for, CYT has you covered.

Classes in voice, dance acting, and technical theatre begin September 17 and run weekly through the celbratory free showcase for family and friends on November 19.  And this fall, children enrolled in CYT classes have the opportunity to audition for CYT Tri-Valley’s first musical production to be performed in early December.

‘Wiggles’ (4-5yrs) and ‘Our Gang’ (6-7) classes will provide our youngest performers their chance to discover theatre through multi-sensory, creative exploration.

‘The Voice’ (12-18):  Learn what it takes to get a ’four-chair turnaround!’  Through solid technique and practice, students will improve their singing in solo and group arrangements.

‘Backstage & Beyond’ (13-18):  This class is all about creating theatrical magic behind the scenes.  Kids will learn about lighting, sets, props, and stage management on their way to enjoying the theatre from a whole new perspective.

‘Drama!’ (8-12):  A great opportunity to explore acting in a safe and encouraging environment.  Improv games, character discovery and scenes for young actors will bring the drama!

‘So You think You CAN’T Dance’ (13-18):  Work on your musical theatre moves!  Students will build confidence and style through dance steps and combinations generously used in theatre.
