Foothill Falcon Baseball Defeats Livermore, 9-4

Foothill High banged out nine runs on 10 hits in a convincing 9-4 win over Livermore High on Friday at Foothill.

The Falcons erupted for six runs in the third inning, batting through the order. Brandon Visceral’s double in the third frame was the key hit, driving in two runs.

Foothill never looked back, adding two more runs in the fourth inning and another in the seventh.

Visceral lead the offensive onslaught with three RBIs on two hits, including a double. Chris Zerio, Jake Jeffries and Ryan Anderson added two hits each and Matt Bati chipped in with two RBIs.

Eric Crispell earned the win, pitching four innings. Grant Soyka pitched two scoreless innings and Ryan Fritsch closed the game out, pitching the seventh inning.
