Annual Rose Show Coming to Pleasanton
The 73rd Annual Pleasanton Rose Show will be at the Pleasanton Senior Center on May 11.

The 73rd Annual Pleasanton Rose Show gets underway on Saturday, May 11 at the Pleasanton Senior Center located at 5353 Sunol Boulevard. Public viewing of the rose entries is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The show is sponsored by the City of Pleasanton and Alain Pinel Realtors.
Rose exhibitors can register their entries between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Judging will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

The Pleasanton Rose Show dates back to the 1930’s, when Pleasanton banker Harry Harding gave his customers a rose bush in thanks for their business. He was rewarded with gifts of blooming roses brought in by those same customers which evolved into an annual show.
