The Turning Point: With Piscotty cruising and the Dons already ahead 4-0, they added another three runs in the third to create an insurmountable lead.
What's next? The Dons will host No. 8 Deer Valley (20-4) on Saturday at 5 p.m.
The Bottom Line: Amador, which is ranked No. 11 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports, won its 11th-straight game to setup a quarterfinal matchup with Deer Valley. The Dons lost 5-0 to Wolverines in the quarters in the 2007 season, but figure to be decisive favorites this time around.
