Bicyclist Identified in Deadly Pleasanton Crash
Fire officials said the 72-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pleasanton, CA — Alameda County Coroner's officials have identified a bicyclist fatally struck by a car in Pleasanton Thursday morning as 72-year-old Gail Turner.
The fatal collision involving Turner and a car closed the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Stanley Boulevard for about five hours Thursday morning.

According to police, the bicyclist was traveling southbound on Valley Avenue toward Bernal Avenue when she was struck by a driver traveling eastbound on Stanley Boulevard. Turner died at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.
