We do not live in the fanciest part of Pleasanton, but I dare say we have by far the most ideal family neighborhood in the whole city.
We have about 30 kids on our court and on Friday nights the families who live here migrate out to our street to watch the kids play, socialize and share potluck dinners.
The kids ride their bikes like they came from the fanciest stores and play like there is safety bubble over our street. There is tag, kick ball, flashlight hide and seek and they draw with sidewalk chalk like little Picassos.

They know their neighbors, they have friends they can call on and someone is always game to be out and active.
When I imagined my ideal "small town" street, THIS is it. We are truly so happy to live in Pleasanton, SO fortunate that we chose our street and I look forward to many months of daylight savings so my kids can play freely outside like I once did when I was a child!
