Summer 2012 Without the Shadow Cliffs Water Slides

The other day while roller blading down the new path along Stanley Boulvard I passed by the Water Slides and wondered if it would ever reopen.  A good friend of mine voiced this same thought to me the other day.  One can't help but notice how the entire area is looking run down and unkempt; its clear that there is no care being taken of the facility by its owners, the East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD).

But it doesn't have to end this way! I urge all of you to keep up the pressure:

Write to EBRPD and let them know you want to see the water slides open for Summer 2013

I've requested an update from the EBRPD on the status of the RFI and will provide an update here as soon as I hear back.
