TWO PLEASANTON MANAGERS EARN STATEWIDE CERTIFICATION
Two professionals from CJM Association Services Inc. in Pleasanton earn the prestigious, statewide designation of "Certified Community Association Manager."
Tawni Hughes and Jill Pearce with CJM Association Services Inc. in Pleasanton, Calif., have been awarded the statewide designation of “Certified Community Association Manager” (CCAM®) from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) during the second quarter of 2012. The CCAM certification is awarded to community managers who have completed CACM’s educational curriculum program and fulfilled a minimum requirement of work experience in the field of community association management.
“CCAM certification is a rigorous process for community managers, and rightfully so,” said Karen Conlon, president and CEO of CACM. “California law governing community associations is one of the most complex in the country, which means
that every CCAM candidate must master an intense body of knowledge covering
state law, standards of ethical practice, client relations and communications. There are no shortcuts in this field, and today’s community managers must be prepared to resolve a number of issues on behalf of the communities they manage. Congratulations to each of the managers who have earned their CCAM
designation.”
