We need your help!
TVNPA, in partnership with the East Bay Leadership Council, is hosting a powerful event on Wednesday, June 18, from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Rosewood Commons Conference Center in Pleasanton—and we are asking our partners and allies across the region to show up, invite others, and help fill the room.
This is more than a meeting. It's a conversation that matters.
Grounded Leadership: Community Members, Businesses & Nonprofits in Action is a cross-sector event designed to inform and tackle the big issues—rising economic uncertainty, changing policies, and increasing community needs—with truth, compassion, and collective problem-solving.
We need everyone at the table: Concerned residents who care about our region's future Nonprofit leaders and volunteers Local business owners and chamber members Civic and government representatives Funders and philanthropic voices Journalists, educators, and engaged residents.
Please register to join us—and bring someone with you. A colleague, a neighbor, someone who isn't usually invited to these conversations. The strength of this event depends on the diversity of the voices in the room.
You'll hear from a range of local changemakers, including:
• Marti Sutton (TVNPA), John Bost (Open Heart Kitchen), Christine Dillman (Tri-Valley Haven), Christine Beitsch-Bahmi (CityServe), Lara Calvert (Spectrum), Mary Hekl (Hively), Liz Perez-Howe (Axis Community Health)
• Supervisor David Haubert and Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan
• Hilda Madriz (El Charro), Kat (Bay Area News Group), and Steven Druin (LVJUSD School Board)
Moderated by Kathy Young (TVNPA) and Mark Orcutt (East Bay Leadership Council), this event is about listening across differences, learning from one another, and building relationships that lead to real solutions.
Whether you lead an organization, run a small business, serve in public office, or simply care deeply about your community—this forum is for you.
Let's fill the room—with people from every corner of our community.
