Calling all Kids: Make an Apple Turkey!

Families are invited for a free crafting and healthy snacking event, Nov 15, 1-3 at the Pleasanton New Leaf Community Markets.

It’s apple season and there are so many ways to enjoy them! From eating them out of hand, to apple pie, apple cider, apple sauce, apple pancakes, Waldorf salad... the list goes on. To celebrate the abundance of apples, New Leaf is holding a special event for families. Kids can make a turkey using an apple as the base (or shall we say, as the body) and then decorate it with a variety of edible ingredients. Sound like fun?
