Colossus Con Comes to Pleasanton
Colossus Con, a pop culture and comic convention, will take place Saturday, April 8 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton.
From Colossus Con: Colossus Con, a pop culture and comic convention, is happening this Saturday, April 8th, 10 am - 5 pm at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA.
The event will bring together fans of sci-fi, fantasy, superheroes, movies and TV shows. A family friendly show is open to all ages, and dressing up as your favorite characters is welcome and encouraged. Cosplayers will be also able to enter cosplay contest for a chance to win a trophy and a cash prize.
Celebrity guests include voice over actor Michael Bell (Transformers, G.I. Joe, Rugrats, Tangles, Smurfs), Julie Dolan (Princess Leia Organa on Star Wars Rebels), Jack Stauffer (Battlestar Galactica), Kathy Garver (Family Affair, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends), R Troopers’ actors Michael Hollander and Brad Hawkins, as well as Marvel and DC comic book artists.

Attendees will also be able to shop from local creators, comic book and toy vendors, meet fan clubs, participate in lightsaber fights and attend panel featuring special guests.
Show open 10 am - 5 pm at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Tickets are available online here (adult 13+ $11, kids 5-12 $5, kids under 5 y.o. free) or at the door (adult 13+ $16, kids 5-12 $8, kids under 5 y.o. free).
