COMMUTER ALERT: Roads Closed For Purple Heart Outdoor Tour Ride Through Pleasanton

BREAKING: Drivers may experience delays during the Thursday evening commute.

PLEASANTON, CA — Several roads will be temporarily closed this evening as the annual Purple Heart Outdoor Tour passes through Pleasanton. The tour, which pays homage to Special Forces Operators, will also honor five local soldiers. The public is invited and encouraged to watch the motorcade-style procession.

Starting at 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the procession will require rolling, temporary road closures along the following streets:

- Southbound Valley Ave from Koll Center to Bernal Ave
- Eastbound Bernal Ave to Northbound Main St
- Northbound Main St to Eastbound Old Stanley
- Eastbound Old Stanley to Eastbound First St
- Eastbound First St/Stanley Blvd into Livermore
