Condoleezza Rice as Romney VP? Share Your Thoughts

The speculation on who will become Mitt Romney's choice as running mate on the GOP ticket has identified a familar name: Condoleezza Rice.

The former Secretary of State under President George W. Bush was named by the Drudge Report, a conservative website, as a frontrunner, according to ABC News.

Rice, now at Stanford University, is on vacation this weekend, according to her spokesperson. The Romney campaign has not commented on the report, ABC said.

According to the ABC report, the Washington Post published an op-ed recently about how some conservatives view Rice favorably because she’s the “anti-Palin”,  and then Bill Kristol predicted that she is a frontrunner, because Ann Romney told CBS that they are considering a woman vice presidential candidate.

Rice, 57, was born in Birmingham, Ala. She was National Security Adviser under George W. Bush before becoming Secretary of State.
