Connor has been active in Scouting and served in the troop leadership as an Instructor and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. Connor loves scouting because of the many adventures that he gets to go on with his friends and the happy memories he will never forget.
For his Eagle Scout project, he built and installed a gaga ball pit, benches, and a chalkboard signpost on the school playground for Valley Christian Elementary School. Gaga ball is a fast-paced, high-energy game that's like dodgeball but gentler. Research shows that exercise increases one’s capability to learn, and with this gaga ball pit, along with benches and a signpost, students will have another way to exercise and have fun, helping them pay more attention in class. The Physical Education department will also be able to use this gaga ball pit. With this pit, Valley Christian Elementary will have a more spectacular atmosphere and a better environment. Connor led 24 scouts and leaders to build the pit for a total of 164 hours.
