Pleasanton Man, 58, Identified As Victim In Fiery Tesla Crash
His car burst into flames after hitting a cement wall Jan. 18 at the intersection of W. Las Positas Blvd. and Hacienda Drive in Pleasanton.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau has identified 58-year-old Joseph Freschi of Pleasanton as the driver tragically killed after his car hit a cement wall and caught fire Saturday, Jan. 18 in Pleasanton.
Freschi's 2018 Tesla Model S crashed around 6 p.m. at the intersection of W. Las Positas Boulevard and Hacienda Drive and caught fire, the Pleasanton Police Department previously said. The car battery re-ignited after police cleared it from the scene, forcing fire crews to put it out.
The Pleasanton Police Department could not immediately be reached to share whether there were any updates in the traffic investigation.

Freschi was admitted to the bar in 1992 and graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles law school, according to the State Bar of California website.
