Council Approves Resolution Supporting Housing, Policy Framework
Pleasanton is the first to adopt a resolution supporting the Tri-Valley Cities Housing, Policy Framework to address the housing crisis.
From The City of Pleasanton: The City Council voted unanimously in favor of a resolution supporting the Tri-Valley Cities Housing and Policy Framework.
In response to numerous pieces of housing legislation approved by the State Legislature and the Governor last term, as well as the many newly proposed housing bills this year, the City of Pleasanton is the first among the Tri-Valley cities to adopt a resolution supporting the Tri-Valley Cities Housing and Policy Framework to address the statewide housing crisis. This framework is a collaborative effort by the cities of Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, and the Town of Danville. With each of the Tri-Valley cities expected to adopt the resolution in the coming two months, this is the first step in a collective effort to work together on housing solutions for the Tri-Valley region, while still recognizing each community’s individual perspective on how to best meet the needs of its local residents and business communities. The areas of shared perspectives will allow for consensus and advocacy that will strengthen the voice of the Tri-Valley.
