The classes learn about eggs, chicks and their life cycle for weeks before they hatch.

In March, the classes put the eggs into incubators. About 21 days later, the classrooms were suddenly bursting with chicks. Soon after hatching, the fragile babies were moved to their new homes in small swimming pools at the front of the classrooms until they are sent back to live at a local farm.
