Driver Who Hit Pleasanton Building Suspected Of DUI
Police said the suspect was involved in two collisions in the same night.
PLEASANTON, CA — A driver who crashed into a building in Pleasanton in September will likely be charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run, police said. The driver hit a building and ruptured a gas line in the 4300 block of Valley Avenue and drove away from the scene, according to police.
The crash injured several occupants who were treated for minor injuries and prompted officials to temporarily evacuate nearby businesses. A short time later, a second collision was reported on Crestline Way.
Police said the collisions were likely caused by the same suspect, who was taken to a nearby hospital. Police did not release the driver’s name. No other information is available.
