Parks & Recreation Commission meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.

The Parks and Recreation Commission advises the City Council regarding sound planning and programming for parks and community services. The Commission also advises the Council on capital budgeting for park development and improvements. The Commission also receives advisory support from the Trails Ad Hoc Committee and Pleasanton Sports Council.
