Fairgrounds Plans 2 Drive-In Movies For Halloween In Pleasanton
Tickets on sale for "Hotel Transylvania" and "Sleepy Hollow." Costume contest planned, too.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton announced this week that two family-friendly, drive-in movie "Boo Bashes," with costume contests and prizes, are planned for Halloween night, Oct. 31.
"Many families are taking a break from Halloween activities this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fairgrounds is proud to be able to provide a safe alternative to celebrate this year," administrators said.
From pre-purchased parking spaces, ticketholders will watch one of two movies: Hotel Transylvania at 5:45 p.m.; or Sleepy Hollow, featuring Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci and Christopher Walken, at 8:30 p.m. Each movie is sold separately.
