'First Wednesday' Returns to Main Street

Thousands took to Main Street last night to check out the first of the season's monthly "First Wednesday" street parties. Pleasanton's downtown was lined with booths with local businesses from around Tri-Valley, food vendors and live entertainment for the party. This year, organizers have brought back the popular "Artblock" attraction, which features local artists, while adding a mini-farmers' market called "Market on Main" to the event.

First Wednesdays, hosted by the Pleasanton Downtown Association, will run once a month, on the first Wednesday of each month through September.
