"Foodnearu" the Livermore based restaurant delivery company is now associated with "Eddie Papa's American Hangout."
Frankly all you foodies out there, we couldn't be happier. "Eddie Papa's" is not just a wonderful restaurant, it is a Pleasanton Landmark! The name of the place says it all, Eddie Papa's AMERICAN Hangout." The menu is as American as an apple pie... From the Monterey Crab and artichoke dip served with fresh baked Shaazdee sourdugh, to the 'All American Hamburger', to my personal favorite 'Vermont Apple Pork Chop' (actually my favorite menu item in the Tri-Valley) served with seasonal Vegetables,and mashed potatoes, the Chop is maple syrup brined, rubbed with rosemaryand bacon, sauteed apples,sweet onions, brown mustard cream sauce, and apple cider reduction. Say THAT three times fast! Just writing about it makes my taste buds water...
I like to compare "Eddie Papa's" to "Rick's Cafe Americain" in the Humphrey Bogart classic, 'Casablanca.' For those of you who were lucky enough (and or old enough) to have ever seen the movie, almost all of the action takes place at "Rick's" (Humphrey Bogart's character) restaurant. In fact the original title of the film was "Everybody Goes to Rick's." Obviously the producers made the correct move in re-naming the flick, but the comparison really does fit. Go into "Eddie Papa's" on a Friday night and everyone who is anyone, is there! "Eddie Papa's is a great place to "Hangout!" Actually, anytime you get the chance you shoud go to "Eddie Papa's", you will have a great time...
