Gov. Brown rallies Bay Area activists working to 'Get Out the Vote'

California Governor Jerry Brown will be in Pleasanton today to take part in a “Get Out the Vote Rally.”
The rally, which is open to the public, starts at noon and will be held at the Alameda County Democratic Office located at 5580 Springdale Avenue, Suite A.
Rally spokesperson Mike Roth said, “We are expecting local Democratic activists, community leaders and others, along with the governor.

In the final 9 days of voting, Governor Brown is offering Californians the opportunity to save and prepare for the future:
· Prop. 1 ensures a reliable water supply for farms and businesses during a severe drought, invests in conservation, and provides safe drinking water for all California communities.
·Prop. 2 smoothes out California’s boom and bust budget cycles that that cause overspending, tax increases, and painful cuts to schools. Proposition 2 will create a rainy day fund to smooth out the budget roller coasters.
