A Pleasanton homeowner called police after an alert showed an individual lingering at her front door and in her yard.

PLEASANTON, CA — A 28-year-old woman was arrested on drug-related charges Monday after a Pleasanton resident called police to report an unknown person was spotted on surveillance video hanging around the homeowner's front door and entering the side yard, according to authorities.
The Vintage Hills resident, who was not home at the time, forwarded the home-camera footage to officers, said Sgt. Robert Shuffield of the Pleasanton Police Department.
Police responded to the call, logged at 11:45 a.m., and located the female suspect in the backyard, he said.
