Kelly O’Lauge named Woman of Influence
Former Pleasanton Community of Character President is honored in Portland
Kelly O’Lauge named Portland Woman of Influence
Kelly O’Lauge was a great leader in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley for years, as the director of the YMCA, President of the Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative and CEO of Hively. Her influence was felt as she helped honor Tri-Valley citizens by establishing the annual Martin Luther King Legacy Breakfast and led the Community of Character in honoring Pleasanton volunteers with the Juanita Haugen Awards for Character and Service, as well as heading the awarding of scholarships to PUSD students. She was a tireless advocate for the needy, for children, mothers and homeless.
Two and a half years ago, she moved to Portland to be closer to her grandkids and her daughter and became the director of the United Way, where she worked with an amazing team and made new friends and apparently became quite the leader there also.

She was recently named as a “Woman of Influence” and honored as a new inductee to join 500 past awardees. Congratulations Kelly, we miss you.
