Letter to the Editor: Voter Asks Residents to Visit Lund Ranch Before Voting

Jay Hertogs urges the community to do the research before casting their vote.

Dear Editor,

As a 27 year resident of Pleasanton, I’m sick and tired of the outright lies and half-truths put out by the No of K backers. I’ve personally attended 10 of the 14 public meetings over the last 4 years that finally has come to this compromise. There are only 43 homes from the original plan of up to 143 before measure PP. All 43 homes are in the valley and PP compliant.

None of the homes are built on the hillside as they like to claim. Their ads with pictures of homes on hillsides and a road traversing ridges are not true. Your "no" vote will stop this plan that so many have worked so hard to get the very best outcome for ALL of Pleasanton’s residents.

The developer is deeding 174 acres of PERMANENT open space, providing two miles of new public trails for all residents to enjoy. Before you vote, please take the time to visit this property at 1500 Lund Ranch Road. It will be open again this Sunday, June 5 the 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Please come see the truth for yourself.
