Livermore, Pleasanton Awarding $1.4 Million In Grant Funding

Applicants must attend one upcoming workshop to learn about the application processes and receive application packets.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — Groups that serve the cities of Pleasanton and Livermore will have a chance to receive a total of $1.4 million in grant funding for the upcoming fiscal year. Livermore and Pleasanton grants will be awarded to nonprofits and public groups in the areas of housing and human service, and Pleasanton grants for youth and civic arts programming will also be available.

The cities of Pleasanton and Livermore will award $820,000 and $550,000, respectively, for housing and human services projects. Pleasanton will also award $55,000 for civic arts projects and $40,000 for youth programs.

Many projects will help low-income members of the communities, Pleasanton announced Monday in a press release.
