PLEASANTON, CA — Four local boys earned the privilege to ride with police officers in the Hometown Holiday Parade after they won the Pleasanton Police Department’s Trading Card Game. Oliver, 11, Elliot, 8, and Simon, 5, along with Riley, 10, were celebrities for the night when they rode with D.A.R.E. officers Dave Batoy and Ken McNeill Saturday evening in the annual parade.
The boys are the first set of winners since the game began in September. Police say prizes are still available for the Trading Card Game, which runs through the end of the year.
