
PLEASANTON, CA — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who robbed a Pleasanton bank Friday morning. Police said the man entered the Chase Bank, located at 5800 Stoneridge Mall Road, just after 10 a.m. He presented a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
Police said the suspect is described as a black man in his 50s or 60s. He is about 6 foot, 3 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing grey pants, a white shirt, a dark green beanie and dark rimmed eyeglasses. A newer model silver Toyota Camry was seen in the area during the time of the robbery and may be associated with the suspect.
Police said the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Pleasanton Police Department at (925) 931-5100.
