Dublin High Senior Earns Eagle Scout Award
Pleasanton Boy Scout troop 947 gave the Eagle Scout to McKay McFadden.
PLEASANTON, CA — Boy Scout troop 947, sponsored by the Pleasanton Third Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, held an Eagle court of honor and awarded the rank of Eagle Scout to McKay McFadden.
McKay is the son of Jeremy and Rebecca McFadden. McKay is a senior at Dublin High School who loves sports and the outdoors. He fully embraced the values and opportunities that Scouting offered him. His Eagle service project was to refurbish one of the older “Welcome to Dublin” signs as well as the organization names on the sign.
McKay wants to remain active in Scouting and give back to his community and to others. He will leave in June to serve a two year Church mission in Taiwan.
