On Thursday, March 19, New Leaf Community Markets will hold its first Community Day of the year. On seven dates this year, five percent of the day’s sales will given to a local nonprofit working to improve the quality of life in our community. The beneficiary on March 19 will be the Pleasanton Museum on Main. The donation will support some of the museum’s current projects that preserve and share information about local history. Representatives from the museum will be on hand during the day. For more information about the Museum on Main, visit www.museumonmain.org.

Other nonprofits that will be supported this year through New Leaf Community Days are: Good News Bears (April 16), Agape Villages Foster Family Agency (June 18), Valley Humane Society (August 20), The Taylor Family Foundation (September 17), and the Alameda Boys and Girls Club (October 15).
