New Clerk-Recorder's Office Opening in Tri-Valley
Skip the long drive to Oakland - an office is opening on Dublin Boulevard. But initially, it will only be open a few days a week.

In what promises to be a huge time saver for tri-valley residents, the Alameda County Clerk-Recorder’s Office is opening a satellite office in Dublin. Currently, people who need to obtain vital records have to go all the way to Oakland.
The new office is located at 7600 Dublin Blvd. It will open on Tuesday, Dec. 1 and initially will be open on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The office is expected to expand its hours to Monday through Friday in the near future.

“We are delighted to be opening a new satellite office in Dublin because we believe this location will be much more convenient for a significant number of our customers,’’ said Steve Manning, Alameda County Auditor-Controller/Clerk-Recorder.
The new office will be within walking distance of the West Dublin BART station and will include a free customer parking area.

Initially, service offerings will include certified copies of vital records (birth, death and marriage certificates), certified copies of official public records (recorded real estate documents), and document recording. A customer research area will also be provided.
As customer volumes increase, the Clerk-Recorder’s Office plans to expand services to include the issuance of marriage licenses, notary bonds, fictitious business names and other records.
