New Leaf Customers Donate $17,336 During Holiday Food Drive

During November and December, customers of New Leaf Community Markets’ stores donated a total of $17,336 for area food banks which will provide meals for 69,343 families in need.  The Alameda County Community Food Bank received $1,202 which translates to 4,808 meals.  This Food Bank is one of California’s busiest and more efficient food banks with a nutrition education program and an innovative advocacy program for low income residents. www.accfb.org
