New Leaf thanks customers for donating $17,336 to food banks!

During the annual Holiday Food Drive in November and December, customers of New Leaf Community Markets’ stores donated a total of $17,336 for area food banks. This translates to meals for 69,343 families in need. 

The Alameda County Community Food Bank received $1,202 which translates to 4,808 meals. The Food Bank is one of California’s busiest and more efficient food banks with a nutrition education program and an innovative advocacy program for low income residents.
