New Principal Chosen for Hart Middle School

PLEASANTON, CA - Leslie Heller has been chosen as the next Principal of Hart Middle School.

Heller has served as Vice Principal of Foothill High School since 2012. According to ​Pleasanton Unified School District, she earned a reputation for strong leadership and a student ­centered approach.

“Leslie has had an incredible impact in Pleasanton as a teacher and administrator,” said Interim Superintendent Jim Hansen. “We are thrilled to have her join our Hart community as principal.”

Before coming to Foothill, Heller was an English teacher at Amador Valley High School for 13 years.

Heller was recently honored with a Pleasanton PTA Council Excellence in Education award for her efforts as Foothill High School Vice Principal. She also currently serves on the district ELA Writing Committee and Common Core Implementation team.

Heller will begin as Hart Middle School Principal on July 1, 2016.
