Pirates Of Emerson Haunted Houses Reopen Friday

Feeling extra brave? You probably won't be after a walk through Northern California's most terrifying haunted houses.

PLEASANTON, CA — There’s no shortage of scary news these days, but here’s some that’s also fun: Pirates of Emerson, Northern California’s creepiest haunted walk through, returns to the Alameda County Fairgrounds this Friday.

For the 31st year, visitors can live out their darkest nightmares by walking through four haunted houses filled with evil clowns, psychotic pigs with knives, and the odd pirate with a chainsaw. “As you enter the Adventure, you enter a world of suspense and terror,” the website warns. “The only thing on your mind will be your survival.”

If you’re feeling extra confident about your bravery and survival skills, you can buy tickets at piratessofemerson.com. Tickets are only sold online, and correspond to a specific entry time.
General admission costs $38, while a $58 Speed Pass helps bypass lines.
