Pleasanton Announces Virtual Holiday Celebration Week Activities

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton's Hometown Holiday Celebration may be going virtual in 2020, but residents can still look forward to a week-long slate of socially distant activities.

The city of Pleasanton has announced plans for its Hometown Holidays Celebration Week, which kicks off Dec. 1 and culminates Dec. 5 with the livestreamed celebration and tree lighting.

Tune in to Tri-Valley Community Television at 7 p.m. for a festive pre-recorded broadcast, featuring tunes from a capella group Business Casual and a tree lighting countdown with the Pleasanton City Council.

And if you're on the nice list this year, rumor has it that you might even get a glimpse of Santa at the virtual celebration.
