Pleasanton Road Reopens After Crash
Northbound lanes in a section of Hopyard Road were closed for most of Monday morning following a two-vehicle traffic collision.
PLEASANTON, CA — Northbound lanes on Hopyard Road in Pleasanton reopened at around noon following a serious car accident, authorities said.
Northbound lanes were closed after 7 a.m. Monday, when officers responded to a traffic collision between two vehicles at Hopyard Road and Clorox Way, Sgt. Marty Billdt of the Pleasanton Police Department told Patch.
The driver and a passenger of one vehicle were transported to Eden Hospital with critical injuries, Billdt said. The other driver was not injured and remained on-scene.

PPD traffic units are investigating the crash, including whether drugs or alcohol played a factor.
