Pleasanton High on List of Road Rankings
The city scores well on a list that rates the pavement.
Pleasanton's nearly 500 miles of road are rated "good," according to the latest ranking of road conditions and street maintenance in the Bay Area.
The Bay Area's Metropolitan Transportation Commission puts together the "Pavement Management Index," which rates the nine Bay Area counties and 101 cities from best to worst.
Brentwood tops the list, while a town in the far northeast corner of the Bay Area, Rio Vista, comes in last. Neighbor Dublin, is among the top six, and Pleasanton rated 15th.
