The parade will include the Foothill and Amador Valley High School marching bands, and numerous floats, followed by musical entertainment at the Museum on Main, and a tree lighting with Santa Claus at about 6:45.
The parade will be canceled if steady drizzle or rain persists by 4:15 p.m. Saturday. The city may also discontinue electrical power for the tree lighting. The city has set up a hotline at 925-931-5352 that will provide regular updates on the status of the parade.
