Pleasanton Kicks Off 'Walk And Roll Week'
Walk to School Day may be off in 2020, but Pleasanton students can still get some exercise in.
PLEASANTON, CA — Get ready to walk and roll, Pleasanton.
Though schools are closed and the traditional Walk to School Day has been called off, Alameda County has proposed an alternative: International Walk and Roll Week from Oct. 19 to 23. Students who participate can be entered into a prize drawing.
Walk and roll in your neighborhood or park while maintaining social distance, the city said in a news release. Elementary and middle school students across Pleasanton are welcome to participate.
