Pleasanton Library Partners with Hoopla Digital to Offer Patrons Online, Mobile Access to Free Movies/TV, Music
Library card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app at the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Thousands of movies, television shows, music albums and audiobooks are now available to library cardholders of the Pleasanton Public Library through a new partnership with hoopla digital. Hoopla digital is a service of Midwest Tape – a trusted partner to public libraries for over 20 years.
Pleasanton library card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app at the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store for use on Android or IOS devices. Then, visithoopladigital.com to begin enjoying thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios, record companies and publishers – available to borrow 24/7, for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets and computers.

“We are very excited to provide Hoopla to our patrons,” said Wendy Kimsey, who coordinated the program at the Pleasanton Library. “Hoopla allows our patrons to check out up to ten items per month from thousands of titles, with no holds or late fees.”
Hoopla will add hundreds of titles each month to the library catalog and offerings to patrons will continue to increase and can be searched from home.
