Pleasanton Library Presents Free Concert Featuring California Youth Chinese Symphony
The concert will be on April 25 at 2:00 p.m.

The Pleasanton Public Library will host a free concert by the California Youth Chinese Symphony (CYCS) on Saturday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. This symphony has more than 100 talented young students in its instrument and orchestra programs, led by Chinese music professionals.
The program promotes musical diversity and provides cultural enrichment to communities where CYCS performances introduce Chinese traditional music and instruments such as dizi, the Chinese transverse flute, pipa, a four-stringed Chinese plucked instrument, erhu, a two-string bowed instrument such as a fiddle, sheng, a mouth-blown free reed instrument , and many others.
