Pleasanton Police Arrest Man on Suspicion of Making Criminal Threats
Police say the man refused to come to the door and residents were advised to shelter in place while officers negotiated his surrender.

On February 9, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., Pleasanton Police Department officers responded to a home on the 3800 block of Antonini Way in an attempt to locate Rajinderpal Dhillon. Dhillon was the suspect in a criminal threats incident that occurred the day before. As officers arrived they could see Dhillon walking around inside the home. Dhillon refused to answer the door and was extremely agitated.
On several occasions Dhillon made threats of violence to the police officers. Officers established a perimeter around the house and attempted to initiate communication however Dhillon refused to comply. Area residents were advised to shelter in place.

The East County Tactical Team was called out and responded to the residence. At 9:30 p.m., officers were able to negotiate Dhillon’s surrender without incident. Dhillon was booked into Alameda County Jail – Santa Rita for criminal threats. No one was injured during this incident.
