Police Release Sketch of Man Who Sexually Assaulted 10-Year-Old

Oakland Police Department Investigators have released a sketch of the man responsible for the sexual assault of a 10 year-old boy on January 27, 2015.

The child told police that while he was walking in the 1100 block of 98th Avenue, at about 3:00 p.m., he was approached by a stranger. The suspect lured him to a nearby area and sexually assaulted him. The victim was able to leave and notify his parents.

The victim described the suspect as an Hispanic male, 40-50 years of age, 5’7”, slender build, tan complexion, short salt and pepper hair, full beard (also salt and pepper). He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket and dark pants. He is described as having an unkempt appearance and possibly loiters in the area.

Crime Stoppers of Oakland is offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
