The community is encouraged to get involved in the December Hometown Holiday Parade by applying this month.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Veterans Day parade may be this Sunday, but Pleasanton is already thinking ahead to its Hometown Holiday Celebration on Dec. 3, which will feature a parade, tree lighting, music entertainment, floats, cars, a marching band, and more.
The city is now accepting parade entries and volunteer applications online at hometownholiday.com. Applications are open to the entire community, and must be submitted by Wednesday, Nov. 23.
The city is also auditioning parade announcers on Nov. 9 from 6-7 p.m. Anyone interested in narrating the parade who is at least 16 years old should submit an online application to audition.
